The development and adoption of a sustainable timber procurement policy

This case study has been published by the North East Improvement and Efficiency Partnership, The Central Point of Expertise for Timber Procurement (CPET), and Durham County Council.

From the introduction:

"The purpose of this case study is to describe the development of a local authority sustainable timber procurement policy and the progress made to date in its implementation. This policy developed is the first local authority policy which is consistent with the UK Government national policy on timber procurement."

This resource relates to the Sustainable Timber Procurement session at the "Carbon Allsorts" event on 15th July 2010, during Changing Climate Weeks.
