Open for Business

How can we help you?

We welcome enquiries about our paid for services, but first what do we offer for free?

We provide a lot of resources and tools which you are welcome to browse here on our website and on our national network Climate UK. We also organise regular events across the East Midlands (and further afield via Climate UK and our counterparts around the country) which may be of interest. Much of our activity is publicly funded because it is in the public interest (and we report on it regularly via our News page, quarterly e-newsletters and Twitter feed), but we are happy to provide additional support to businesses and other organisations who want something more bespoke or individual.

What do we do, who do we work with, and what can we bring?

We have lots of experience in providing training, capacity building and facilitating collaborative working for a wide range of organisations, including small and large businesses in different sectors, local authorities, NHS Trusts, universities, farms, schools, voluntary organisations and communities.

Our main expertise is in climate change adaptation, risk assessment, building resilience, business continuity, etc. but have also provided support on mitigation, including carbon management, decentralised energy, planning, renewables, zero carbon homes, behavioural change, etc. Where we don't have the capacity or skills in-house, we can usually find it for you from within our national network.

We help to demistify the science and jargon associated with tackling climate change and put it into plain language and concepts that people can relate to more easily. We understand the bottom line and help organisations to save money by being more resource efficient and more able to stay in business by improving their resilience to extreme weather and other factors.

We have tried and tested resources, training materials and techniques for engaging people in dialogue and helping them learn about the complex nature of climate risks and what actions can be taken to make a difference. Let us help you make your organisation more climate ready. We're happy to supply examples of our previous work and references from those we've worked with.

Please get in touch via the details on our Contact Us page. We look forward to hearing from you.
