HomeEventsGreen Deal Business Breakfast, Leicester 7 Mar 2013

To support Climate Week 2013, Leicester City Council is delighted to offer a free training opportunity to small and medium enterprises in Leicester and the surrounding area.

The Energy Efficiency and Green Deal Breakfast will be held on 7th March at Phoenix Square, Leicester. A free breakfast will be provided.

We have partnered with Verco to provide training to help your business reduce its energy use and help save you money on your energy bills, whilst supporting your carbon reduction efforts and enhancing your reputation.

In the current economic climate, monitoring and managing your energy use is a simple and effective way to reduce expenditure throughout your business. By monitoring your energy use, you can find out how much energy you are using as well as at what times and during which activities.

The event will aim to cover:

  • Expert energy management training
  • An action plan ready for you to use and start saving energy
  • Information on how to manage and monitor your organisations energy use
  • How to conduct a walk around survey to identify further saving opportunities
  • Sources of funding and the opportunities under the Green Deal
  • Have a one to one chat with an expert trainer
  • Network with other local and like-minded businesses
  • Entry into a draw to win a FREE Green Deal Business Survey and Assessment!
