After the success of the “Sustainability means Business” event, Future Factory is preparing for its next big event – “Carbon Conscious Cuisine” – a day focused on sustainable cooking and hospitality.
The day will focus on sustainable cooking and the hospitality sector, including manufacturers, producers, restaurants, pubs, caterers and cafés as well as tips to improve your own cooking carbon footprint at home. Café Direct will start the day by putting sustainability in perspective, discussing future challenges and demonstrating the efforts the company are making to help elevate these problems. Future Factory is also pleased to welcome Sustaination, WRAP, and DEFRA partners Grimsby Institute who will discuss a variety of topics throughout the day including low energy cooking, reducing and reinventing food waste and sustainable, local sourcing. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day including a special 2 course lunch, which provides the perfect opportunity to network with like-minded local and national professionals. There will also be a number of stalls present providing guidance and support on the issues discussed during the event.
